Church of God

Between September 1992 and January of 1994, my wife and I and our 3 kids were members of a Church of God. Worship there was awesome, but there was a lot of LAW taught and from what I remember, very little on GRACE. You either functioned in Tongues and maybe another gift or you should be and this was a difficult place for us as a family. My timing on moving us there and out of the Baptist Church was totally wrong and while I met some people that are still my friends to this day, it was a mistake to go there. Later, when Priscilla and I started going to a Vineyard church we were asked why we didn't go to a COG. I said that that the COG was more bound than the Baptists and in different ways. That's my take.....
